    Graduated from the University of Tokyo, Faculty of Engineering, and Graduate School of Engineering. Since 2007, supported the formulation and execution of management strategies for domestic and international companies at Boston Consulting Group. Obtained an MBA from London Business School. After working at M3, Inc., joined Rarejob in 2019. In the same year, appointed as an Executive Officer, and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), responsible for drafting the mid-term management plan, launching overseas businesses, and developing new businesses. Appointed CEO of PROGOS Inc. in 2023. Appointed Representative Director of RareJob in 2024.

    Joined WILLOF WORK, Inc. (formerly Centmedia) in 2006. Held positions as Leader, Osaka Branch Manager, and Area Manager. Subsequently transferred to the Management Department of WILLOF WORK in preparation for WILL GROUP (formerly WILL Holdings) listing on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Gained experience in internal audits and overall management-related tasks, including preparation for the listing. Joined BORDERLINK, INC. in 2014, where engaged in sales and overall operations, and was appointed CEO in 2017. Appointed Representative Director of RareJob in 2024.

    Joined Gakken Holdings (formerly Gakushu Kenkyusha) as a new graduate in 1997. After serving as a manager for door-to-door sales of educational materials in various regions, Mr.Taniguchi was engaged in facility development in the medical and welfare business. Assigned for new business development in the corporate planning department. Simultaneously held multiple positions, including Director of Glats for Kimini English Conversation, Managing Director of TGG, an experiential English learning facility, Chairman of GPlusMedia, which operates the ALT recruitment site GaijinPot, and Representative Director of GAKKEN CC for online Chinese and CC lessons. Appointed Executive Officer of Gakken Holdings in 2024. Appointed External Director of our company in 2025.

    He joined Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC in 2001. He was later involved in M&A advisory at RECOF Corporation, worked as a stock analyst at Mitsubishi UFJ Securities Co., Ltd., and worked for Mizuho Bank, Ltd., where he proposed management and financial strategies to listed companies and performed other duties. He established Mihara Accounting Firm in 2014. He became a full-time corporate auditor of RareJob and then, took the position of an outside director (Chairperson of Audit and Supervisory Committee) of the company in 2016.

    After working for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC, he joined Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc., where he engaged in the establishment of disclosure rules and performed other duties in the Listing Department. He then joined Cookpad Inc., where he served as an executive officer and CFO and played a leading role in listing the company by advancing measures including the establishment of a governing structure. At present, he supports venture firms as an outside director or in other roles, in addition to being involved in the operation of a business on his own. He became an outside auditor of RareJob in 2013. He has been an outside director (Audit and Supervisory Committee member) of the company since 2016.

    He joined Japan Asia Investment Co., Ltd. after graduating from Keio University in 1996 to engage in investment in and management support for online business ventures.In 2000, he took part in the establishment of an IT venture, becoming one of its directors.In 2003, he set up an online research firm called Cross Marketing.
    He became an outside director for RareJob in 2014 and has been serving in that capacity since, while also serving as a member of its Audit and Supervisory Committee since 2018.

Appointed as the Representative Director and the President of Britannica Japan Co., Ltd. in 2020, where led initiatives in the digital transformation of content and the restructuring of business schemes, driving new market development and business growth. Also served as a member of the Education Innovation Committee of the Industrial Structure Council under the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Joined Rarejob in October 2024, overseeing the core business of online English conversation services.

Also dealt with corporate litigation, finance, debt collection, bankruptcy, general civil and family cases, and criminal cases. Joined RareJob in January 2023. Making use of experience from advising numerous corporate clients, to oversee legal and general affairs, as well as HR and PR.
