Masuyo Ando, the president and COO of PROGOS Inc., was elected as the first Japanese judge for the world’s largest education competition, “Reimagine Education Award 2021.”

RareJob, Inc. (hereafter, “RareJob”), which utilizes data related to human resource to develop global talents, announced that President and COO of PROGOS Inc.(hereafter, “PROGOS”), was elected as the first Japanese judge for the world’s largest education competition “Reimagine Education Award 2021.” 

Reimagine Education Award is the world’s largest award for innovative pedagogies, and more than 1,400 applications were submitted from 72 countries worldwide last year. Ms Ando was honorably selected from more than 500 candidates across the world as an EdTech specialist for the judge panel this year.

Last year, the AI business speaking test PROGOS® won the silver prize in the assessment category as RareJob group. RareJob group was the first Japanese organization to receive this award, which means that the innovative value of the test was recognized in the global standard. Ms Ando will further contribute to and promote educational innovation through EdTech in the world as a judge.
With Ms Ando’s appointment as a judge for the award, we promote further collaboration with EdTech experts and companies worldwide.

After working for Nomura Research Institute and a German pharmaceutical company, she moved to the United States. She got master degrees and worked for a US-based company while she was there for seven and a half years, then she returned to Japan. She has over 25 years of experience in the fields of English education and global human resources development. She has focused on the promotion of TOEIC® in companies and universities and global talent development for nearly seven years as the manager in the Institute for International Business Communication. She joined RareJob in 2020 after she worked as an executive officer of an EdTech company. She has been in her current position since April 2021.
